June 15 was a beautiful sunshiny day – a perfect day for a Sunday drive in ‘Bertha’ the giant RV. Grandpa John and Steve loaded up and headed for Greenwater, a park northeast of Enumclaw on the way to the Crystal ski resort. It was Father's Day, and what better excuse for the men to get out and spend some time together (Grandpa Ben was at Safeco Field watching the Seattle Mariners scratch the series win over the Atlanta Braves.) We stopped off at the Federated Forest museum and trails for a long walk in the woods. Mitchell enjoyed it a lot, especially the pine cones, ferns, rocks trees and moss.
After lunch, Mitchell even got a chance to get behind the wheel. How long does it take to get a Class C license?
