After having dinner with the Rainbow Girls in Black Diamond May 12, we stopped by the park in Auburn that is the home of a vintage steam locomotive. Mama gets all the glory of posing with our little train buff, but dad was having just as much fun. Be sure to check out the train themed play area that also is in the park.
Mitchell knew right away what the black colossus was, calling out "Train Mama!" as soon as we climbed out of the car. It's not too visible in the upper left shot, but some vandals had thrown a shopping cart onto the train where the bell is (about the center of the photo) on the far side of the engine. What class.
