Nickel Plate Tender (Square)

This was the tender from my very first Lionel set. The one my grandfather Bill Stedman gave me for Christmas back in the early 70's (?) Since my family moved quite a bit, the set was tucked out of sight for a long while. I had the engine and tender on display while I was at the University of Washington (1986-90) but the rest of the train was stored in my folks' attic for several more years. My sister actually "discovered" the long-lost freight cars and the set was reuinted. Other than some dust from a few years of uncovered display, this tender is great. Rolls well and looks nice.
