6457 SP-type Caboose

A nice postwar caboose in pretty good shape. There is a corner of the rear overhang that has been nicked off (see top two photos below) but it isn't too visible since the paint job matched the original plastic so well. A nice metal coupler unit is used on the leading truck, and just a swiveling axle setup with no coupler at the rear (see pic below.) There also is a smoke stack ahead of the cupola and all four stairways are intact. I read somewhere, long ago, about there being significance to the numbers being underscored, but I don't recall why.
