1655 Steam Engine

This heavy die-cast metal engine has seen some hard times at the hands of a previous owner. As you can see in the photos below, most of the cow catcher has been broken off and the forward and trailing wheels are missing. Paint has some wear, but is probably not bad for a train that is more than 55 years old. Lionel placards are molded into both sides of the boiler (toward the front) and Lionel information is imprinted to the underside of the engine. The engine originally came with a tender No. 6654W, but I don't have it (at least I don't think I do.)

Engine runs strong. Linkage arm on left side (see top left picture below) droops but does not interfere with operation.
